1. Introduction ---------------------- This program was created to help you organize and keep track of all that satellite television has to offer. No matter where you live in the world, with just a simple mouse click you can quickly and easily find the satellites that are in your area. A click on any satellite will show the channels available for that satellite. Various filtering options allow you to configure the program to your specifications. There's also an online update function so that you can download the latest changes. You can also display just the updates for a particular group of satellites. You can even save your personal settings automatically so that you don't have to reenter it every time you restart the program!
The "World of Satellites" program is available on CD-ROM. The CD-ROM is issued every six months and is only available together with a subscription to TELE-satellite International magazine. This version comes with a six-month update license allowing you unlimited chart updates throughout the license period.
The program can also be downloaded from the Internet. The downloaded version is fully functional but only comes with a two-month chart update license. This version also requires an activation code that can be found on page 3 of the current issue of TELE-satellite magazine. Without the correct activation code, the chart update feature will not work.
To install either version, follow the simple steps as described below.
